January #2: BEITOU
Hey everyone! LESS THAN A WEEK TO GO ‘TIL CULTIST IS OUT ON SWITCH. Thumbs at the ready, people!
How It Happened To Happen
Jack Cohen is a reproductive biologist who gives talks on speculative xenobiology. I once heard him explain how we had happened to evolve from a species of fish that kept its reproductive organs next to the pipes it used to eliminate waste from its body.
January #1: APELLICON
Happy 2021, everyone! This year is the Year of the Ox, the Year That COVID Might Go Away, and the second year in a row that we’re likely to have to put off our wedding. BUT LO! It’s also the year we get to properly share ongoing BOOK OF HOURS development with you, so I’m feeling pretty chipper about that.
The Gift of Music
appy nearly Christmas, everyone! I’m old enough to have had a LiveJournal back in the day.

Happy Black Friday! It’s terribly consumerist, I know, and I sort of hate it. But it’s a good opportunity for a SALE and who doesn’t like a sale?

It’s (Not) the Real Thing
I’ve been playing Fallout 4’s Nuka-World DLC. Hoofing it through postapocalyptica with a customised robot companion and shooting raiders in the face has always been fun, but I was surprised to find that Nuka-World, though vast, actually felt constrictive.
AUG #3: REDCROSSE
The sky is the colour of television, tuned to a dead channel. The Thames lies swollen with silt, shoes and stolen shopping carts. Someone nicked Alexis’s bike and threw it in a lake, and someone else casually set fire to some cars next door. Happy autumn, all!
