Weather Factory was established in 2017 by Alexis Kennedy and Lottie Bevan to make ingenious narrative games with a consciously indie aesthetic.

We made double-BAFTA-nominated Cultist Simulator, a Lovecraftian card game of apocalypse and yearning. Our current project is BOOK OF HOURS, an elegant, melancholy, combat-free RPG set in an occult library.

Description

Alexis is an acclaimed writer and game designer. He founded Failbetter Games, where he created, wrote and directed Fallen London and Sunless Sea (plus StoryNexus, Machine Cares!, Night Circus, Black Crown et al).

Description

Lottie’s a producer, artist and one of the youngest female founders in the industry. She was a 2019 BAFTA Breakthrough Brit and MCV ’30 under 30′, one of GI.biz’s ‘Top 100 most influential women’ and founder of Coven Club, a women in games support network. She previously produced Fallen London, Sunless Sea, Zubmariner and Sunless Skies at Failbetter Games.
